Junior Leadership Seminar (JLS) is a DoDEA-E-sponsored, 6-day event for 7th and 8th-grade students. The vision of JLS is to foster students’ strengths and skills to prepare students to be leaders in an interdependent global community. Each year 150 students throughout Europe, who exhibit leadership skills, are selected by their schools to attend the Junior Leadership Seminar. This activity identifies and develops leadership skills in students that allow them to return to their schools and implement service projects. The goal is to prepare future leaders of tomorrow.

The Patch Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is open to 7th and 8th graders. Students must complete an application and be accepted.

Pep Band members play for the Pep rally and other various events around and for the Garrison such as the Veteran's and Memorial Day events and the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies! Open to intermediate and advanced band only.
