Dear Patch MS Families,

As we wrap up another incredible school year at Patch Middle School, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many accomplishments our students and staff have achieved together. From academic growth and creative expression to leadership and collaboration, this year has been filled with moments that make us proud to be part of the Patch MS community. Our students have embraced challenges, supported one another, and demonstrated resilience and growth in so many areas—both inside and outside the classroom.

The month of May brought a whirlwind of excitement and activity, and it was a true celebration of our students’ hard work. Each grade level participated in engaging field trips that extended learning beyond the classroom walls. Our 8th graders danced the night away at their formal, creating memories that will last a lifetime as they prepare for the next chapter. We also welcomed incoming students with our 5th grade orientation, setting the stage for a smooth transition into middle school.  Our Creative Writing classes visited Stuttgart Elementary School to read their original stories.  In addition, our talented musicians impressed audiences with outstanding performances in our band, strings, and choir concerts.

Throughout the year, we’ve focused on more than just academic success. At Patch MS, we emphasize the importance of community, character, and student voice. Whether students led service projects, participated in clubs, mentored peers, or explored new interests, they have grown as learners and as individuals. Our staff has continued to create meaningful learning experiences and foster a supportive environment where every student can thrive.

As we head into summer, we know our students are more than ready for some well-deserved rest, fun, and adventure. Whether staying local or traveling far, we hope every family enjoys the break and finds time to recharge. We are so proud of all that our students have accomplished this year and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall for another great year at Patch Middle School.

Warm regards,
Mrs. Gamble and Mrs. Small

Where words leave off, music begins

One of the highlights of May was our choir concert, which beautifully showcased the rich history of the Stuttgart American Military Community. Through powerful songs, narration, and dance, the performance honored the legacy of American service members and their families in the region. The students’ voices brought decades of community and cultural connection to life, weaving music and history into a heartfelt tribute that resonated with all in attendance. It was more than a concert—it was a moving celebration of our shared story, reminding us of the pride and unity that define our Patch MS community.

Patch Middle School Expectations - Digital Norms

This month at Patch Middle School, we're spotlighting the importance of healthy digital habits with the video Hack the Habits! In this fun and relatable video, students discover how everyday choices—like locking their screen and using devices for the intended purpose—can dramatically improve focus, reduce distractions, and support academic success. In class, students will revisit how small shifts in digital behavior can lead to big wins in productivity.  As we explore these strategies, we're encouraging students to take charge of their digital lives and build habits that will serve them both in and out of school.
